Meet Wanjiku
Wanjiku is a Medical Doctor who has undergone vigorous medical training at the University of Nairobi as well as a healthy post-graduate work experience, therefore uniting the knowledge of clinical practice with critical thinking and practical leadership for the current times. She is dedicated to putting her experiences to use to create a better world through strengthening health systems.
While pursuing an MSc in Health Policy, Planning and Financing at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, she saw an opportunity to apply her passion for writing and storytelling and merge them with her desire to enhance health equity. She aims to influence positive change in the Global Health arena and decrease health equity and access disparities.
Apart from her career aspirations, Wanjiku is a published author, and creative writer and regularly uses her online platform to talk about transformational leadership and self-identity. She enjoys provoking her readers' thoughts to create healthy and progressive discussions.
